M/s. Chowdhary Tubes Pvt. Ltd., is a SME Manufacturing Unit engaged in the business of manufacturing steel pipes and tubes, with family members as Directors. The manufacturing unit at Navi Mumbai was started in 1992. Though initially the same business has been carried out since 1970 under the name of M/s. Chowdhary Steel Corporation at Darukhana, Mumbai-10, as a proprietorship firm and Mr. Zamirullah Chowdhary as the Founder, having a very rich experience in this line of activity. Later on, after completing their education, his sons, named Mr. Ashfaque Chowdhary and Mr. Parvez Chowdhary, also joined him as the business was rapidly expanding due to a huge demand of steel pipes in the market. This was the foundation of M/s. Chowdhary Tubes Pvt. Ltd.

STAFF DETAILS

Apart from the three directors, the office staff includes Technical and marketing manager, clerical staff and non-clerical staff. The shop floor staff comprises Foreman, Supervisors, Draw Bench operators, Heavy Press operators, straightening machine operators, Furnace operators, Welders and cutters, Machinists in shop floor and labours. Total staff of the company including office/shop floor, skilled/unskilled personnel is 45 nos.

PURCHASES

Raw material required for the finished product is purchased from Jindal, ISMT, MSL and some Imports. All our sales target are achieved by receiving a huge orders from PSUs and other government establishment.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

Raw material products procurement.

Converting the mother tube size into basic sizes.
